More than a bookkeeper. A fellow business owner who gets it.

A woman with curly dark hair and blue eyes sitting in an office or conference room, wearing a tan blazer and white shirt, with people working at desks in the background.

My path to bookkeeping wasn't traditional - and that's exactly what makes me different.

I spent a decade teaching people to fly, which taught me that precision, attention to detail, and staying calm under pressure aren't just skills. They're a way of life.

When I became a mom, I started my first small business and discovered something every entrepreneur eventually learns - running a business you love and managing its finances are two very different things. I've lived that tension firsthand, balancing the books of my own businesses for years, including a retail store I operated from 2016 through 2024.

I know what it feels like to stare at a spreadsheet at midnight wondering if the numbers are right. I know the anxiety of tax season, the confusion of cash flow, and the relief of finally having everything in order. That experience - combined with my QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification and background in IT and systems thinking - is exactly what I bring to every client relationship.

I started Balanced Pages Bookkeeping because small business owners deserve a bookkeeper who truly understands what they're going through. Not just someone who knows the numbers, but someone who has lived the journey.

When your books are clear, everything else gets easier. That's what I show up to do every single day.
